Privacy and retention

When you publish a complaint, the defaults sit close to the most private option to protect your identity and documents. This page explains what is visible to whom.

What is public and what is not

Public: the approved complaint title and account, brand replies, approved comments, case status and the name display you choose.

Name display
For each case you can choose “Full name”, “Surname hidden” (default, e.g. Ahmet Y****) or “Anonymous”. You can switch to a more private option at any time; the public page updates immediately.
Kept private
Your email address, your real full name (seen only by you and moderators), account/transaction numbers, internal moderation notes and original evidence documents.
Google and Telegram
Names, usernames and photos from these sign-in services are never shown publicly automatically; you choose your display name.

Evidence documents

Documents are kept in private storage and authorisation is checked on every download. Sharing with the brand happens only with your explicit choice. Withdrawing consent stops future access, but copies already downloaded cannot be recalled.

Retention

Abandoned uploads and unused temporary files are cleaned up regularly. Published cases are kept so that records and appeals remain traceable. Withdrawing a complaint does not automatically delete every record; moderation decisions and event records are kept for accountability.

Legally required retention periods and exceptions are defined through a review for each target market; when this page changes, its last-updated date changes.

Data export and deletion requests

From My account > Profile and privacy you can request a copy of your data or deletion of your account. Requests are processed manually after verifying your identity; exports never include internal moderation notes or other parties' private information.

Notifications

Email and Telegram notifications contain only a short title, the brand name and a link to the case. Your account of events, documents, amounts and account numbers are never sent in notifications; you see the details on the site after signing in.

Advertising and measurement

Complaint, amount and evidence data are never used for ad targeting. Everyone sees the same set of sponsors; ads are not varied by country or person. Ad impression and click counts are bot-filtered estimates.
